Shepherd Community Center Christmas Store
The yearly Christmas Store organized and hosted by Shepherd Community Center is an opportunity for neighbors to provide their families with gifts they may not be able to give alone. Partners make the store possible financially and through donations of gifts, which range from Bluetooth speakers and sports equipment for teenagers to e-readers, dolls, dinosaurs, and toys for newborns. Volunteers make it possible to pull off the event by gift wrapping, and this year featured COVID-safe shopping while our neighbors waited in their cars and shopped with volunteers through iPads.
